FREE – Family Weight Management Program

MEND (Mind Exercise Nutrition Do It) is a fun FREE program provided to children over a healthy weight in two age groups 5 to 7 and 7 to 13 years of age. The program is available in Prince George for both age groups and Quesnel for 7 to 13.   The program provides children and their parents or guardians a chance to learn about healthy eating and how to become more active.   Families who attend the MEND Program Experience many positive benefits. – Families learn how to make healthier choices and get active together – Children are able to concentrate better at school – Children find new friends and parents find  a support network to keep them motivated – Children become more self-confident and their self-esteem improves   No doctor’s referral is required.
